Jan Stip joined Valesco Ventures on the 1-st of July 2018. He is a seasoned networking and telecom industry executive with a proven track record of building and growing businesses in Networking,
Security and Cloud market solutions. Recently working with companies on new market entries and business development, Mist Systems (VP EMEA), RtBrick (Advisor) and Zingbox (Advisor).
Prior at Infoblox (NASDQ: BLOX), he led EMEA and was coordinating the Global Service Provider business. He was a founding member of Juniper's (NASDQ: JNPR) EMEA business. After which he held global roles as General Manager & Vice President Engineering (Wireless/ Mobile, Identity & Policy (Service) Management and Software Defined Network Access). And as Vice president & Managing Director for the Network Service Provider, this role encompasses industry responsibility for Juniper’s Wireline, Mobile and Unified Network Service Provider around the world, a $ 2.3Bn business.
Prior to this Jan Stip was responsible as General Manager Service Provider Europe at Ascom Timpelex and an officer at the Royal Dutch Navy.
A native of The Netherlands, Jan Stip has a master’s degree in Computer Resource Management from Webster University and bachelor of science degree in Electrical Engineering from Windesheim University Applied Sciences.
